Our team
Marc and Erin Grandia are a husband-and-wife Eventing team and active upper-level riders from Washington State. They specialize in training horses and riders of all levels to be successful in Eventing while pursuing their personal goals to become top riders in the United States. Erin and Marc have complementary strengths that makes Full Gallop Eventing a comprehensive full-service program.

Marc Grandia
Marc is an experienced event rider who has competed through the CCI4* and Advanced levels of Eventing. Marc demands excellence from his riders while still maintaining encouraging and horse-friendly approaches to his teaching. He specializes in starting young horses under saddle and introducing them to Eventing as confident, happy partners. He is “S” USEF and Level 2 FEI XC course designer, a graduate A pony clubber, and an ICP level 3 certified instructor.

Erin Grandia
Erin has been riding all her life and began her career in Pony Club, achieving her A-Traditional certification at 19 years old. She is also an ICP level 2 certified instructor, and has ridden through the Advanced and CCI3* levels. She enjoys coaching riders to their first Eventing experiences as well as helping them develop up the levels and achieve their goals. Erin enjoys the partnership with her horses and the process of developing young horses to their potential.

Colette Jantze
Colette began working with Full Gallop Eventing in 2019. She spent multiple years as an FEI groom, prioritizing attention to detail in the care and management of upper level event horses. Colette has competed through the Preliminary level with goals of riding at the top levels of the sport. Her passion is starting young horses with an emphasis on correct foundations, giving horses the confidence to grow.
